The codes are yours

QR code technology is patent-free. We claim no ownership of the codes you generate and place no restriction on their use — commercial, personal, printed, resold, at any scale. You do not need to credit us.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We make every effort to emit correct, standards-compliant payloads and test them against real devices, but scanner behaviour varies across phones, apps and operating system versions.

Always test a code on the devices your audience will actually use, before committing it to print. We cannot accept liability for a code that fails to scan, for a print run that has to be repeated, or for a payment that does not reach you.

Acceptable use

Do not use this tool to:

• Impersonate a person, business or payment recipient.
• Direct people to malware, phishing pages or deceptive payment destinations.
• Place codes over other organisations' codes — a real and growing form of payment fraud.
• Break the law in your jurisdiction.

Availability

This is a free service with no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable, and it may change or end.

This is precisely why every code is static. A code you have already generated contains its own data and does not depend on this site continuing to exist — if the site disappears tomorrow, every code you printed keeps working. Any future dynamic-code feature will state its dependency on our service prominently, because that trade-off is real.

Payment codes

UPI and PayPal codes are links to those payment systems. We are not a payment processor, we never handle funds, and we have no visibility of any transaction. Verify your own payment codes with a small test payment before displaying them publicly.
