Why the codes are built in your browser
A QR code is just data arranged in a square, so there is no technical reason to send your WiFi password, contact details or payment address to a server to make one. Here the payload never leaves your device: the generator runs in the page, works offline once loaded, and produces static codes that keep working with no service behind them — nothing to expire, nothing to track you through.
Questions
QR codes here, answered
Are these QR codes really free?
Yes — free without an account, a watermark, an export limit or a trial period. The codes are static, so they cost nothing to keep working: the data lives inside the square, not on a server.
Do my details get uploaded when I make a code?
No. Every code is generated client-side, in this browser tab. Open your browser's network inspector while you type — the payload never appears in a request.
Will the codes expire?
No. A static code encodes the data itself, so it works for as long as it is legible. There is no redirect service in the middle that can lapse, get rate-limited or shut down.
Which QR code types are supported?
WiFi, links, plain text, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, vCard contacts, UPI payments, PayPal.me, calendar events and map locations — each documented on its own page, down to the literal payload format.
